Office / Sales Admin Assistant

Columbia, MD


The Office / Sales Admin Assistant is located in the Columbia, MD headquarters. This position reports directly to the VP of North American Sales and Human Resources Director and will share roles at a rate of 50/50 between Sales and Administration. The Sales Admin will support the day-to-day needs of the North American Sales Team.


The more common skills and attributes that are needed for this role may include:

  • Provides excellent organizational skills and is proficient in scheduling multiple activities and projects for members of the sales and marketing team.
  • Distributes accounting (ERP) reports of monthly spend vs budget to sales reps in each territory.
  • Provides the North American Sales Team support with materials for customers or trade shows including ordering and shipping to the respective locations.
  • Sets up meetings, and registrations as requested for the Sales Team including preparing agendas, conference rooms, hotel accommodations, meals, and activities.
  • Logistical support activities for specific sales events and/or product launches.
  • Works closely with the Sales team members in coordinating trade show and conference events, and shipping of promotional materials, and/or collateral to support regional and national needs.
  • Serves as the backup to the Office Administrator for reception, phones, and all other related duties when necessary.
  • Limited but may require overnight air travel within the U.S.


  • 1−3 years progressive office administration
  • Professional, business communication both in writing and on the phone/in person.
  • Strong, computer software skills, Microsoft Suite and other related proprietary systems of the Company.
